Our 10, 11, and 12 year-old students can look forward to experiencing an extended stay at The Farm School, a working farm program in Athol, Massachusetts. The Farm School states:
 
“While here the students find value in real work, create community that persists when they return to their classrooms, and experience first hand what it means to be a steward of the earth.”
 
Each spring, a class of students heads out for three days and two nights of farm life. Milking cows, feeding chickens, tending crops, and cooking meals with the food they’ve harvested, our students learn as much about their own capabilities and the importance of teamwork as they do about farm work and food production.
